Three-Piece Horsehair Nativity

via Oklahoma Native Art & Jewelry

A three-piece nativity set in horsehair-fired pottery. Each figure carries its own smoky markings from the firing, so the set has the warmth of something made by hand rather than poured from a mould. A beautiful centrepiece for the holidays that can be brought out year after year.
